What Steward is

Steward Home OS is a private operating system for family life. Your household's data exists to serve your household — never to be advertised against, profiled, or sold.

What we collect

Account information you provide: names, email addresses, and a securely hashed password.

Household content you create: schedules, budgets, meals, chores, routines, documents, and similar family data.

Waitlist information you submit: name, email, household size, and preferences — used only to contact you about Steward.

Basic technical logs required to operate and secure the service.

What we never do

We do not sell or rent personal data.

We do not show advertising or share data with advertisers.

We do not build public profiles of you or your children.

We do not operate a social feed; there are no strangers and no audience in Steward.

Household isolation

Every household is a separate, isolated data space. Members of one household cannot access another household's data. Within a household, parents control what children can see and do.

Children's privacy

Child spaces are created and controlled entirely by a parent. Children do not have public profiles, do not receive marketing, and are not tracked for analytics. A child's access can be changed or revoked by a parent at any time. Steward's learning tools use material the family provides; they are designed to help children practice, not to collect information about them.

Documents and financial data

Household documents are stored privately and served only after your household login is verified. Budget data is planning data you enter; Steward does not connect to bank accounts today and never stores card numbers (payments, when offered, will be processed by a dedicated payment provider).

Data export and deletion

You can export your household's data from within the app. To request deletion of your household and its data, email privacy@stewardhomeos.com from your account email; we will verify the request and delete the household's data as described here, keeping only what the law requires us to keep.
